Home Health Aide (HHA) - Will Train

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides (HHAs). No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. HHAs will work under the supervision of healthcare professionals to provide essential personal care and support to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a caring demeanor, a desire to make a difference in people's lives, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
  • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Support patients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
  • Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
  • Follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and report documentation as required.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Training and Development
  • Complete a comprehensive training program that includes classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and supervised clinical experience.
  • Learn proper techniques for personal care, infection control, and safety procedures.
  • Receive ongoing education and skill development opportunities to enhance caregiving abilities and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with patient mobility.
Working Conditions
  • This position involves working directly in patients’ homes, which may vary in environment and conditions.
  • Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
