Join a high-performing hospital imaging team as a Travel Ultrasound Technologist in Indianapolis, Indiana. This 13-week ultrasound technologist contract offers a steady weekday schedule, competitive weekly pay, and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative clinical environment on the south side of Indianapolis.

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830-$1,970
  • Employment Type: Travel Contract
  • Setting: Hospital / Diagnostic Imaging / Ultrasound
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237
  • Start Date: 9/21/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (3x12s)

Job Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasound Tech
  • Experience in general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound required
  • ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Preferred certifications: RVT and RDMS (AB or OB)
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent work skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and maintain a patient-centered approach
  • Experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams in abdominal, OB/Gyn, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images to support timely clinical decisions
  • Provide compassionate, professional care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Maintain efficient workflow within the hospital ultrasound department
  • Follow established imaging protocols, safety standards, and department procedures
  • Participate in backup call coverage as scheduled
