Caregiver Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for and elevating the human spirit while they’re r responsibilities will include providing personal care, companionship, and support to individuals with various needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders as prescribed.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, which may involve using assistive devices.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Monitor, report, and document changes in clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress.
• Transport to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, and any other kind of errands that might be needed.

Skills

• Experience in patient care, or home care settings is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
• Ability to assist clients safely and assist with mobility-related tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules is important.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay:
From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 hours per week on Wednesday and Saturdays from 9AM to 12PM.

Requirements:

• CPR Certification
