Marquette Senior Living- 8140 Township Line Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260

Compensation:

Starting at $16 per hour

Hours:

Part-time, with morning availability preferred. Typically 7:30/8 AM – 1:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. Additional evening availability is a plus.

Position Overview:

Marquette is currently seeking a compassionate and hospitality-driven Personal Care Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our caregiving staff, you will be responsible for supporting our residents with daily activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, laundry, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Provide medication reminders as directed.

Transport residents via wheelchair to various on-campus locations, including activities, worship services, beauty shop, and appointments.

Observe and report any changes in the health or well-being of residents to the Wellness Nurse.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse, within the scope of non-licensed tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Practical knowledge and experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living.

Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in both routine and emergency situations.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently, with the ability to bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to assist with the lifting and transferring of residents in accordance with facility protocols.

Physical Requirements &

Working Conditions:

Frequent walking and standing, approximately 75% of the time.

Ability to lift and transfer residents in accordance with facility guidelines.

Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
