FULL-TIME MT​/MLT in Laboratory

Purpose

Perform the duties of a Medical Technologist following state and federal laws and hospital policies.

New Graduate: $10,000

Experienced: $15,000

• BS or Associate Degree in Medical Technology, or required experience as acceptable under CLIA'88.
• Registry by an accredited agency.
• Current Louisiana License.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Current CPR certification (re-certified annually).
• Able to work all shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Possesses positive customer service skills.

• Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 10% of the day.
• Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
• Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
• Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 25% of the day.
• Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
