Overview
Body One Physical Therapy is an Indianapolis-based, outpatient physical therapy company seeking part-time employees to assist clinicians with the daily flow of patient care.
For fall 2025 (beginning in August) we need PA Aide candidates who are available in the AM (class in the afternoon) in both our Fishers and North Meridian locations.
We utilize our PT Aides in many ways to help provide our patients with high-quality care and ensure the day runs smoothly. Some of these tasks include:
Responsibilities- Assist clients with beginning or ending their appointment by escorting them to their room or helping them complete exercises as directed by the therapist
- Coordinate communication between the front office and the clinic staff
- Maintain a clean gym and treatment rooms
- Fax results and care plans and enter test results and orders into the EMR
- Order supplies and stock treatment rooms
- Help schedule patients for follow-up appointments
This entry-level position in our outpatient PT setting is ideal for an individual interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and/or rehabilitation services. Many of our PT Aides spend a year working in clinic to gain hours/experience that support applications to graduate studies or advancement within the clinic or other healthcare careers. A background in athletic training or exercise physiology is beneficial but not required for this position.
Interaction with the public is a requirement. Applicants must be proactive, responsible, professional, and have excellent communication skills.
Hours:
Candidate should be available 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday). Additional hours may be available based on need.
Starting wage: $12.00 per hour.
