- Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
- Assess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment per local and site protocols
- Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced-level life support to patients
- Respond to all fires/fire alarms and take appropriate actions
- Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
- Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use
- Inspect and complete audits on all equipment and systems
- Assist medical clinic staff with patient needs as requested
- Perform surveillance and random drug screens as needed
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift, walk for extended periods of time, and climb several flights of stairs
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 lb at least 100 ft
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
- High School/GED or better
