Role Overview
The
Role OverviewThe Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on healthcare and medication needs, and administering immunizations and community programs. They ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, serve as a leader and role model for pharmacy staff, and foster strong relationships with customers and partners.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, with an active pharmacy license
- Completion of accredited immunization training
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Adaptability to diverse medical concerns
- Commitment to regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PHI)
- Enthusiasm for community engagement
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients
- Administer immunizations and participate in health programs
- Guide and model proper customer service for pharmacy staff
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company instructions
