The interdisciplinary team includes Medical Directors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Home Health Aides, Social Workers, Interfaith Chaplains, and additional care partners, all dedicated to compassionate support.

The Hospice Clinical Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Indianapolis, IN, responsible for overseeing clinical hospice services and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role leads and supports interdisciplinary clinical teams, including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other care providers, to coordinate individualized care plans for patients and families. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising clinical operations, monitoring patient care outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency standards, and implementing best practices in hospice and palliative care.

The Hospice Clinical Director collaborates with Medical Directors and other leaders on case reviews, staff education, performance improvement initiatives, and resource utilization. The role also involves serving as a clinical advocate for patients and families, supporting crisis intervention, and promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and open communication.

• Clinical expertise in hospice or palliative Medicine and strong understanding of end-of-life care standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in Clinical Supervision, including leading interdisciplinary teams, coaching staff, and overseeing quality of care.
• Knowledge of Mental Health and Psychology principles to support patients and families coping with grief, loss, and emotional distress.
• Background or familiarity with Behavioral Health approaches to address complex behavioral and psychosocial needs in a compassionate manner.
• Active clinical license (e.g., RN, APRN, or other relevant discipline) in the state of Indiana; hospice or palliative care certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage clinical operations, prioritize workload, and maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patients, families, and staff.
• Experience in leadership or management within hospice, home health, or related healthcare settings strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN, including occasional evening or weekend availability as patient and organizational needs require.
