Biologist

Job Description

Conduct experiments to identify and validate drug targets. Support assay design, optimization, validation, and data analyses. Design and execute molecular and cell biology experiments. Troubleshoot and analyze complex data in support of drug discovery projects. Presentation of results and conclusions both orally and written.

Requirements / have to haves not listed elsewhere:

• Experience with pipetting with small volume manual or electronic pipettes, preferably onto 96 well microtiter plates

Request preferences / nice to haves:

• Experience with Immunoassay testing and/or mammalian cell culturing with cell receptor bioassays in a GMP regulated environment, preferably Quality Control. Demonstrate good math and documentation skills as well as strong oral and collaborative interpersonal interaction skills.

Primary Position Responsibilities (major or daily tasks):

Routine and non-routine sample testing in accordance with safety and GMP guidelines. Ability to analyze and enter data into notebooks and electronic systems and reviews own work for accuracy in accordance with laboratory procedures. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and inspection readiness.
