Intermountain Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our collaborative and highly skilled team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside physicians and caregivers performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Shift Details:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Minimum 1 years Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
- ARRT
- American Registry Upon Hire Required - BLS
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required - ACLS - within 120 Days Required for non-pediatric hospitals
- PALS
- Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days Required for only pediatric hospitals
- Experience with complex interventional procedures (PTA/Stenting, Embolization, Thrombectomy, Neuro Interventions, etc.) - Preferred
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, stent placement, thrombectomy, embolization, atherectomy, and ablation procedures.
- Independently scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and quality.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Operate interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality images and support successful procedural outcomes.
- Apply advanced knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and procedural techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Assist with orientation and mentoring of new caregivers as needed and participate in the department's call rotation to support emergent patient care needs.
- Experience performing or supporting diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, image evaluation, and contrast administration protocols.
- Ability to operate specialized imaging equipment and related information systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Commitment to patient safety, aseptic technique, and sterile procedural practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and remain calm in urgent or complex clinical situations.
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
- This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
