Pharmacy Buyer - South Cancer Center

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to manage pharmaceutical inventory, process orders and invoices, produce reports, and support medication compounding.

• Maintain adequate supplies of pharmaceuticals and other supplies for the pharmacy department.
• Use inventory control strategies to maintain optimal levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Reconcile purchase orders and process invoices for timely payment.
• Produce essential reports related to the use of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate cost and pricing information in the pharmacy database.
• Perform physical inventory to meet regulatory and hospital requirements.
• Process narcotic orders according to DEA regulations and hospital guidelines.
• Assist with medication compounding under the supervision of a pharmacist, when necessary.

• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) certification required.
