has a career opportunity for a Psychiatry Physician Assistant or Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
to join their Post-Stroke Depression Clinic
at
Goodman Hallin Indianapolis.
This role will be part of a newly established outpatient multidisciplinary care team, working collaboratively with Neurology and Psychiatry physicians, as well as other clinical support staff
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- No Call
- General population: adult patients who have had strokes, mix of general psychiatry as well
- Provide comprehensive care for adult patients who have experienced a stroke and subsequently developed depressive disorders
- Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treatment may include psychotropic medication management, individual and group psychotherapy, patient and family education, and other evidence-based supportive interventions
- Play a key role in delivering integrated, patient-centered care to support recovery, emotional well-being, and overal quality of life
- Seeking experienced psychiatry PAs or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners only
- At least two years of experience in Mental Health as an RN or APP is required
