Dialysis Technician
Indianapolis, IN

Overview:

Our outpatient dialysis center in Indianapolis is seeking a Dialysis Technician to prepare, monitor, and support patients throughout hemodialysis treatment. This role offers a flexible 3-day work week within a supportive, stable clinical environment.

Position Offers:
  • Schedule:

    Flexible 3-day work week, shifts from 5:00 AM–8:00 PM
  • Competitive compensation: $45,760–56,160 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure readiness for dialysis procedures
  • Initiate, monitor, and safely discontinue hemodialysis treatments
  • Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report clinical changes
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards throughout care delivery
  • Respond to patient needs, treatment alerts, and clinical concerns
  • Accurately document treatment data and patient responses in the EHR
  • Provide patient education related to dialysis care and treatment adherence
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and care team members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient chronic dialysis setting
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent required, or ability to obtain
  • Completion of an accredited hemodialysis technician training program preferred
