Polysomnographic Technologist

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive sleep studies (polysomnography) on patients to diagnose sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and insomnia.
- Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout the study.
- Monitor patients during overnight sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety.
- Educate patients on sleep study procedures and provide ongoing support throughout the process.
- Score and analyze sleep study data, providing detailed reports to physicians for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in performing and scoring sleep studies is highly preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
- Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, diagnostic equipment, and clinical procedures.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
