Job DescriptionDirect Support Professional – Community Living
New Horizons is looking for a direct support professional employee to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals.
Direct Support Professional employees may need to assist clients with household management tasks (such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and decorating), physical needs (such as grooming or eating), or community needs (participating in events, hobbies, recreational activities).
Job Qualifications- Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
- Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay
- Life Insurance
- 401(k) with company match
Drug Test and TB test required
Background report and driving record required
Shift Information12 hour shifts
Nights- 2nd shift Monday
- Friday = additional $0.50 per hour - 2nd shift Saturday and Sunday = additional $1.50 per hour
- 3rd shift Monday
- Friday = additional $0.75 per hour - 3rd shift Saturday and Sunday = additional $1.75 per hour
