Clinical Therapist Position

Provide a wide range of clinical services to consumers within limits of training and credentialing under clinical supervision. Essential duties include conducting initial evaluations and consumer intake interviews, assessing consumer's presenting problems, formulating diagnosis, developing and implementing treatment plans, carrying out case management services, maintaining an active caseload, providing behavioral interventions, managing crises, following center procedures, maintaining records, acquiring knowledge of human development, participating in continuing education, attending meetings, serving as a resource person, maintaining ethical conduct, demonstrating competent use of electronic medical record, completing required trainings, monitoring caseload, performing telehealth services, and performing any other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in the field of mental health, advanced knowledge and skills in community-based mental health care, competence in assessment and treatment of chemically dependent consumers, good written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills, competence in assessment of and treatment planning for children, adolescents and families, understanding and knowledge of the range of treatment needed, and willingness to use reliable personal transportation in work capacity.

Certificates, licenses, and registrations include a license in the state of Indiana, current crisis prevention intervention certification, current CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license in accordance with motor vehicle policy.
