Overview

Registration Specialist - Cardiology Clinic

Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:45-5:15 (Onsite)
No weekends or major holidays

About the Role

Join a fast-paced cardiology clinic that serves approximately 150 patients daily. As a Registration Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. You will support registration, scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and customer service functions that help keep clinic operations running smoothly while supporting timely patient care and accurate reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Collect payments and explain charges and clinic policies as needed
  • Collaborate closely with medical assistants, nurses, and providers to support clinic operations
  • Ensure accurate documentation to maximize reimbursement and support positive clinical outcomes

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Prefer relevant experience in a health care setting.
  • Requires ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred.

  • Provide excellent customer service through patient and provider interactions
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
