Role:
Global Pain Clinical Research Scientist (CRS) providing scientific and clinical expertise throughout drug development, from trial design to regulatory submission and post-launch support.
Responsibilities: develop global medical and clinical strategies, contribute to trial design, oversee trial conduct, ensure compliance with regulations (FDA, ICH, GCP), support regulatory submissions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Business units. Engage with external experts and thought leaders, mentor teams, and support scientific communication, publications, and educational activities.
Requirements: advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, DVM, MSN/NP) with 5+ years of clinical or pharmaceutical experience, or BS/MS with 7–10 years in clinical trials, drug development, or related fields. Must demonstrate scientific expertise in Pain and Neuroscience, clinical trial methodology, and regulatory processes. Strong communication, influence, and collaboration skills are essential; willingness to travel domestically/internationally.
Preferred: experience in biologics, small molecules, or Neurology/Pain therapeutic areas, and familiarity with biomarker-driven studies and Phase 3/4 trials.
Stakeholders: internal teams (Clinical Ops, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing) and external investigators, regulators, and professional societies.
