Banquet Set Up
team member at the
Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Union Station
. A Banquet Set Up team member handles setting up all tables/chairs, table skirting and AV equipment for banquet space following set-up diagrams provided.
- Maintain proper uniform, clean and free of excessive wrinkles.
- Properly set up banquet room(s) as instructed.
- Always follow health and safety practices
- Respond promptly to any guest request.
- Maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall event success.
- During set up, support all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event.
- Once banquet is complete all tables/chairs, table skirting and AV equipment to put back in storage and re-set for next event according to directions given by manager.
- Work areas must be cleaned and wiped down, and all side duties must be completed before punching out for your shift.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Passion for service and the hospitality industry
- Effective communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Attention to detail, efficiency, consistency, and organization are necessary. Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and keep up with a fast-paced environment.
- Able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 50 lbs. without aid.
- Able to stand and/or walk entire shift.
- Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work nights, and weekends on a full-time basis.
