Hotel Housekeeper

Location:

Severin Hotel, Indianapolis, IN

$18 per hour plus bonus potential. Amenities include free parking, a free meal, competitive starting pay, and full benefits.

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms
• Stock supply cart and keep it neat and organized
• Check equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order
• Respond to hotel guests efficiently and in a friendly manner

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8+ hours
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach, lift up to 20 lbs, and push up to 40 lbs
• Ability to complete work efficiently and in a customer-oriented manner
• Ability to meet the company’s Standard of Appearance policy
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
