Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner, as well as parking and retrieving guest vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients; greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully; assist guests with bell services, luggage storage, and opening doors.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, facility amenities, and local attractions; deliver messages, items, or guest amenities as requested; shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys; ensure accurate ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt).
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed; consistently maintain all documentation for the valet system.
Hourly base pay range: $9 per hour plus $5-$10 per hour in tips. The work schedule may include AM/PM shift times.

QualificationsEducation
:
High school diploma or GED.
Licensure
:
Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance.
Experience
:
One month of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Skills
:
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to read/write standard English, understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction of three-digit numbers, multiplication and division using units of American money).
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems; perception of time rates.
- Manual transmission operation (highly desirable) and parallel parking.
The role requires frequent standing or sitting, walking, and handling of equipment up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and may involve travel up to 5%.
