Compensation:
Base pay $9-$11 per hour plus $5-$10 per hour in tips.
Work schedule:
AM/PM shift times.

The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and delivering a warm welcome.
Essential Functions- 25% Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor. Use guests’ last names during interactions.
- 10% Use the salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location. Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette. Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
- 20% Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- 20% Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries. Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions. Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested. Shuttle guests to approved locations.
- 10% Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival. Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys. Consistently complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt. Complete location on all key tags after parking. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.

- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Licensure, Certification, etc.: Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment, or be within a commutable distance from the state of employment.
- Work Experience: One (1) month related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Skills: Ability to read/write standard English; read comprehension of simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations; perform arithmetic with two‑digit numbers and basic American currency; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand applicable rates; operate a manual transmission (desirable); perform parallel parking.
The job requires regular talking or hearing, frequent sitting or standing, occasional running, walking, handling, reaching, climbing stairs, and other physical tasks requiring balance and flexibility. Lifting requirements include up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. The employee works outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold weather, and travel up to 5% of the time may be required.
