Envive Healthcare of Hartford City is seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping Department in providing exceptional cleanliness and comfort to our residents and employees.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Housekeeping Department, its programs, and activities. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents and staff.

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Housekeeping Department, its programs, and activities.
• Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., related to the housekeeping and laundry department.
• Interpret department policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc.
• Use accepted practices and procedures to keep the facility free from dust, dirt, and safety hazards.
• Clean and mop floors regularly and provide a non-slip finish.
• Clean and wash walls regularly.
• Work will be performed with the safety of the residents and employees in mind.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry supplies.
• Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department.
• Purchase necessary department supplies and equipment, as authorized.
• Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
