Position: Guest Service Associate (Valet Driver) – Downtown Indianapolis
Pay: $9–$11 per hour plus $5–$10 per hour in tips; $5–$10 bonus on select shifts
Schedule: AM/PM/Overnight shifts; all shifts available

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers, and clients.
• Greet and acknowledge guests within five feet using a professional, friendly tone and appropriate salutation.
• Practice proper phone etiquette and meet Towne Park standards.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously.
• Assist guests with bell services, luggage storage, and retrieval of vehicle keys.
• Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests and provide directions, taxi, reservation, or other service inquiries.
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; issue claim checks only after receiving keys.
• Maintain accurate ticket information, including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts.
• Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
• Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested and shuttle guests to approved locations.

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• License: Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
• Experience: One (1) month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge: Principles of customer and personal service, American money calculations, 24‑hour time, rates applicable to time passed, manual transmission operation, parallel parking.
• Skills: Read/write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings, perform basic arithmetic, understand 24‑hour/military time.

Work is primarily outdoors for extended periods, often in extreme heat or cold. Duties include sitting or standing for extended periods, running, walking, handling objects, climbing stairs, kneeling, and reaching. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently. Frequent exposure to vehicle traffic and weather conditions.
