Room Service Server - InterContinental Indianapolis

About the Role

Inter Continental Indianapolis is opening Winter 2025 in the iconic Monument Circle and is seeking a dedicated team to start the brand’s best hotel in the city. The position involves day‑to‑day food and beverage service, guest support, and hospitality operations for guests, VIPs, and banquet events.

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders following the hotel’s guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Provide guests with exceptional service to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in line with sanitation guidelines.
• Set up and deliver all VIP amenities.
• Serve all hospitality suites according to Banquet Event Orders and hotel policies.
• Complete all shift side work as outlined in the operating procedures.
• Respond to customer needs, issues and comments to ensure a quality experience; report all communication to the shift supervisor.
• Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Strength to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and alcohol service; must be of legal age and fluent in the local language.
• Strong communication skills – warm, welcoming and approachable.
