Role Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Data Analyst to build and automate the reporting and analytics that drive recruiting performance across our platform. In this role, you will combine analytical expertise with a deep understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition data structures to support key workforce initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the timely delivery of actionable insights that enhance our talent strategies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis & Optimization: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT teams to analyze current business processes and identify strategic opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Manual Data Loads: Execute and monitor manual data imports into HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely availability for reporting and analytics.
  • System Integration Management: Manage data integrations between HR systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and timely file transfers (including via SFTP).
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop, maintain, and automate complex reports using SQL, scripting (Python, Power Query and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros, lookups) to support decision-making.
  • Data Integrity & Management: Support HR analytics initiatives by extracting, cleaning, and interpreting data from multiple sources to ensure a "single source of truth." Own and manage the intake, triage, and resolution of CSM and client-reported cases, including product issues, bugs, and data integrity concerns, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Support to drive timely resolution and clear communication.
  • System Configuration: Collaborate with system administrators to enhance HR system configuration and expand reporting capabilities aligned with business needs.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure strict data governance and compliance with privacy and security standards across all people systems.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide ad hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations to improve recruiting performance and talent metrics.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst within an HR, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiting environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) and SQL (querying, data joins, validation).
  • Scripting & Automation: Ability to write scripts to automate data workflows (Python, Power Query, or similar).
  • Data Transfer

    Skills:

    Hands-on experience with file transfers and secure SFTP protocols.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or talent systems (e.g., Workday, ORC, Taleo, iCIMS).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and problem-solving capability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep experience with Workday or similar enterprise HRIS platform.
  • Experience with advanced HR analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts or API-based data integration.
  • Understanding of compliance reporting requirements and workforce planning metrics.
