Ferretti Search is proud to partner with a growing construction services firm to identify their first dedicated Human Resources Manager. This newly created role will support a workforce of 800+ employees across union and non-union environments in Indiana.
Human Resources ManagerLocation: Indianapolis (100% Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $125k base salary

What will your day look like?- Oversee daily HR operations: employee relations, compliance, policy implementation, and investigations
- Lead and support HR admins across multiple locations, creating consistency and accountability
- Develop and implement policies and an updated employee handbook
- Guide internal recruitment processes (particularly with trade schools and partnerships)
- Coordinate with external benefits vendors, with opportunity to internalize over time
- Serve as HR liaison for managers, providing training, guidance, and conflict resolution
- Travel occasionally to other Indiana offices for visibility and relationship building
Experienced HR Leader: 5+ years of well-rounded HR experience, with heavy emphasis on employee relations.
Confident Communicator: Skilled at handling tough conversations, investigations, and coaching across all levels.
Union Exposure: Experience working with unionized labor is a strong plus, but not required.
Builder Mindset: You've helped formalize or scale HR processes in a growing company.
Industry Familiarity: Background in construction, real estate, or manufacturing strongly preferred.
