Your Impact

Under the direction of the Vice President of People & Culture, the HR Generalist supports core HR operations across PHG’s restaurant and hospitality brands. This role is responsible for employee relations investigations, HR administration, compliance, onboarding, benefits support, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and HRIS processing. This position is designed to absorb operational HR volume and ensure consistent compliance and service across all locations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace investigations; draft summaries and corrective action documentation.
  • Partner with managers on performance management and policy interpretation.
  • Process onboarding, offboarding, job changes, pay changes, and terminations.
  • Ensure I‑9 compliance and employment documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS system.
  • Manage unemployment claims and required responses.
  • Administer workers’ compensation claims and follow‑up.
  • Track and administer FMLA, ADA, and other leave processes.
  • Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment administration.
  • Prepare standard workforce and compliance reports.
  • Monitor wage and hour compliance and support audit requests.
  • Provide responsive support to field leadership and support center teams.
Your Skills And Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience required.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations required.
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS required.
  • Experience managing unemployment claims and workers’ compensation.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Hospitality or multi‑location experience preferred.
