SummaryThe Human Resources Coordinator (Recruitment Focused) is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process while providing exceptional customer service to hiring managers and candidates. This role also coordinates and supports the agency retention and recognition initiatives. This position manages job postings, recruitment initiatives, applicant tracking, employee recognition programs, and compliance documentation. The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with agency leadership to attract qualified candidates, maintain recruitment compliance, and support employee engagement initiatives while ensuring the highest level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), conducting candidate screenings when requested, and supporting hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare, distribute, and maintain internal and external job postings, newspaper advertisements, recruitment materials, and employment requisitions.
- Research, develop, and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Represent the agency at career fairs and other recruiting events.
- Develop and update recruitment flyers and promotional materials to support ongoing hiring initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report monthly recruitment activity, position vacancies, hiring trends, and recruiting efforts to Human Resources leadership.
- Collaborate with program managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
- Maintain and update New Hire Packets and other recruiting materials.
- Process monthly I-9 documentation for separated employees.
- Assist with maintaining affirmative action plan documentation and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain employee recognition and appreciation programs.
- Co-chair the Employee Relations Committee (ERC) to promote employee engagement, morale, and recognition initiatives.
- Prepare monthly employee Service Award letters and certificates.
- Maintain accurate personnel and payroll records while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to independently prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet applications, and basic spreadsheets.
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications and Human Resources systems.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and in writing.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and telephones.
- Ability to organize, process, and maintain electronic and paper records.
- Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to travel to recruiting events, career fairs, and agency locations as needed.
- Valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle liability insurance required.

Education and Experience Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience required.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
$16 - $18 Hourly Wage
