Location: Clinton
Overview
HR Coordinator (temporary, 4-5 months) – US-IN-Clinton. Responsible for performing HR duties at a professional level including onboarding, employee information and reporting, and general HR tasks. Confidentiality and a professional company image are required at all times. Onsite daily in Clinton, IN.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of applicants after the offer is made to ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements
- Ensure onboarding paperwork is completed in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) prior to the employee’s first day
- Assist new hires with onboarding questions
- Complete new hire setup in the HRIS system: scan and enter employee documentation for new hires and rehires; review for accuracy; follow up on missing documents
- Maintain communication with site management and administration about timing and placement of new hires and rehires
- Work with Payroll to ensure documents are available to process weekly payroll
- Maintain tracking system for new hires, data entry of personnel information, review forms, and assist with I-9 compliance
- Ensure accurate and complete setup and maintenance of the HRIS system
- Maintain employee-related files (personnel files, insurance records, hires, promotions, wage changes, transfers, terminations)
- Handle incoming ESR changes (transfers, wage changes, title changes, etc.)
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local employment laws; support company policies and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Work Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of one to three years HR experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Take reasonable care of own and others’ health and safety in the workplace
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong relationship-building ability
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees
- Ability to multi-task and maintain data-entry accuracy
Working Environment
- Exposure to hazards or physical risks on job sites; follow basic safety precautions
- Moderate exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and loud noises
- Compensation: $22.00–$23.00/hr, commensurate with experience
