Bilingual HR Generalist
Location: Elkhart, Indiana
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in a fully onsite role in Elkhart, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of progressive HR experience and strong communication and employee engagement skills. This position will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership, supporting employee relations, performance management, onboarding, training, and day-to-day HR operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted HR resource for employees and management, addressing questions, concerns, and workplace issues with professionalism and discretion.
Manage employee relations matters, including employee complaints, investigations, conflict resolution, and documentation.
Coordinate and manage the new-hire onboarding process, ensuring employees receive a positive and organized introduction to the company, policies, and culture.
Support and coordinate employee performance reviews, working with managers to ensure timely completion and effective feedback.
Develop and facilitate employee training programs related to company policies, procedures, compliance, and professional development.
Drive employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, communication, teamwork, and employee retention.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure HR documentation is complete and up to date.
Partner with leadership and management on employee development, performance management, HR policies, and workplace concerns.
Ensure HR practices align with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees across all levels of the organization.
4+ years of progressive Human Resources or HR Generalist experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience handling employee relations, complaints, performance reviews, onboarding, and employee training.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with employees and leadership.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and leadership.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
