The Executive Director of HR Operations is responsible for the overall strategy, management, and administration of Payroll, HR Systems and the HR Service Center within the Human Resources organization. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of HR operations to support the company's overall mission and objectives.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will develop and cultivate relationships with external HR service providers, software vendors, and consultants to effectively support contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and optimization of contracting terms and spend to strengthen vendor relations while also providing long‑term value to the organization. The Executive Director of HR Operations will be part of the Total Rewards leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in HR or Operations management at a director level or above with responsibility for Payroll, HR Information Systems and an HR Service Center
- 10 or more years of experience in Payroll, HR Information Systems, or HR Service Center role
- Ability to develop a clear, realistic, and actionable vision, and provide a results‑oriented strategy
- Ability to use customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience
- Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high‑performing team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage projects and assignments from start to completion
- Ability to adapt to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings
- Critical thinking and independent problem resolution skills
- Ability to research industry best practices, benchmarking studies and innovative solutions across the HR industry, and collaborate with HR leadership to develop and publish HR KPIs and goals in support of HR’s key strategic priorities that enable organizational success
