Location: Indianapolis

The Human Resources Manager leads and oversees the Human Resources function and serves as a trusted resource for employees, managers, and leadership. This position is responsible for employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, HR operations, and leadership of the Human Resources team.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who builds strong relationships, supports employees, advises managers, and identifies opportunities to strengthen processes, accountability, and organizational effectiveness. This role is essential to supporting our employees while helping the organization continue to grow and evolve. This is a fulltime on-site role at our Indianapolis location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support members of the Human Resources team.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance concerns, investigations, corrective actions, and employment decisions.
  • Promote compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee benefits administration, leave management, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and other HR programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies, procedures, employee communications, and handbook materials.
  • Support performance management and manager accountability initiatives.
  • Monitor workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead efforts to strengthen HR processes, compliance, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, coach managers, and lead through change.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and effectively navigate a growing and evolving organization.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
