WhatYou Will Do
- Advise and consult with leaders and associates on a broad range of associate relations matters, including coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, investigations, corrective action, terminations, and other sensitive employment issues.
- Lead workplace investigations involving policy violations, employee misconduct, workplace concerns, and other complex associate relations matters.
- Thoroughly document investigation plans, interviews, findings, case summaries, and recommendations in a timely, accurate, and high-quality manner.
- Assess facts objectively and develop clear, defensible recommendations that align with company policy, employment practices, and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop solutions that balance business needs, associate experience, compliance requirements, and organizational risk.
- Analyze associate relations trends, workplace concerns, and organizational risks to identify opportunities for proactive intervention and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support related to organizational changes and other sensitive employment related decisions.
- Partner closely with the broader HR team, Legal, Compliance, Security, Fraud, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant employment practices.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and programs while maintaining compliance with federal, state, employment laws and regulations.
- Partner in the development, interpretation, communication, implementation, and review of employment-related policies, practices, and procedures.
- Develop and facilitate training and educational programs that strengthen leader effectiveness, policy awareness, workplace culture, and compliance.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment law, workplace trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability, fairness, respect, and inclusion through effective consultation, coaching, and issue resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and human resources experience.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar certification preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive experience in Associate Relations, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations involving employee misconduct, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other complex workplace concerns.
- Experience consulting with leaders on performance management, corrective action, employee development, and employment decisions.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, NLRA, and other applicable employment regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, build trusted partnerships, and navigate complex workplace situations through sound judgment, consultation, and collaboration.
- Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage leaders and associates at all levels.
