The Resource Manageris responsible for supporting the effective allocation andutilizationof talent across client engagements for an assigned portfolio of capabilities, geographies, and/or markets. The role executes staffing decisions,maintainsaccurateresource data, and aligns project requirements with available skills and capacity.
Working as part of the Resource Management function, the Resource Manager enables efficient staffing outcomes, supportsutilizationtargets, and contributes to high-quality client delivery. The role balances influence, relationship management, data-driven decision-making, and practical problem-solving in a fast-paced, client-driven environment while promoting consistent use of Resource Management tools, processes, and policies.
This temporary position will provide Resource Management coverage for the North America Assessment, Succession, Leadership & Development (ASLD) portfolio with.
The successful candidate will partner with Resource Management andbusinessstakeholders.
To understand and navigate the coaching talent pool andidentifybest-fit candidates to meet demandin a timely manner.
- Follow established end-to-end staffing and resource planningprocessesfor the assigned portfolio, aligningconsultantcapability, availability, cost,utilization, pipeline demand, and business priorities.
- Identify and resolve staffing conflicts by balancing client needs, consultant availability, development goals, and commercial considerations; escalate significant risks as appropriate.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of assigned talent pools, including skills, availability, interests, development goals, capability gaps, and surplus capacity.
- Identify and advocate for new, unknown, emerging, or underutilized talent, creating deployment opportunities that support business needs,utilization, and career development.
- Manage capacity and supporttimelyredeployment of available talent.
- Supportexistingcontingent workforce planning and resourcing requests, including visibility to utilization, cost, rate considerations, andtimelyonboarding activities.
- Use pipeline, capacity,utilization, and demand information toanticipateresource requirements andidentifygaps or risks.
- Partner withRM Leaders and Opportunity Leaders during the sales process to shape workforce requirements for priority opportunities and resolve capacity constraints through talent redeployment or contingent workforce sourcing.
- Provide clear visibility into talent capacity,deployment readiness, cost impact, and resourcing risks.
- Partner with Resource management leadership,regional Engagement Managers,and project Managers to understand engagement requirements and portfolio priorities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through structured communication, proactive alignment, and education on Resource Management practices.
- Collaborate with Resource management,Operations, KF Hire, and business leadership to align resource planning with hiring needs, revenue forecasts, margin improvement, cost management, and delivery priorities.
- Stay current on Korn Ferry's organizational matrix across solutions, markets, geographies, lines of business, and internal functions to inform staffing decisions.
- Apply working knowledge of revenue, margin,utilization, and cost management to staffing and capacity decisions.
