Human Resources Manager

TRUCARING INC is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead people operations for our Home Care team in Indianapolis, IN (onsite). This role supports stability and growth by strengthening hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance processes across clinical and non-clinical functions.

The Human Resources Manager oversees core HR functions for Home Care operations, ensuring alignment with Indiana labor laws and home health regulatory requirements
. You will manage recruitment through onboarding, maintain compliant documentation, and partner with management on performance and employee relations matters.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, including RNs, LVNs, PTs, OTs, HHAs, and administrative staff
• Coordinate background checks
  , license verification
  , health screenings
  , and onboarding documentation
• Ensure orientation and training are completed in a timely, compliant manner
• Maintain compliance with Indiana wage and hour
  , meal/rest breaks
  , and leave laws
  , among other requirements
• Maintain personnel files in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Handle employee relations matters, including investigations
  , disciplinary actions
  , and terminations
• Support management with performance improvement plans and corrective actions
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and the employee handbook
• Administer benefits
  , leaves of absence
  , and workers' compensation claims
• Oversee timekeeping
  , payroll coordination
  , and HRIS accuracy
• Track and report HR metrics, including turnover
  , hiring
  , and compliance audits

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in home health or healthcare
• Strong knowledge of Indiana employment laws and regulations
• Experience supporting clinical healthcare staff
• HR certification:
  PHR
  , SPHR
  , SHRM-CP
  , or SHRM-SCP
• Experience with home health regulations and accrediting bodies such as ACHC
  , CHAP
  , and Joint Commission
• Bilingual (English plus Burmese or Chin). Candidate must be fluent in English
