Human Resources Group Leader (HRBP)

The Role

The Human Resources Group Leader partners closely with fellow HRBPs and serving as a resource across the People function, the HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and plays a critical role in delivering HR solutions that drive business performance, employee engagement, and scalable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, broad HR expertise, and experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

What

You’ll Do
  • Partner with business leaders across Banyan Headquarters and North American Operating Companies to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business strategy and organizational goals.
  • Support M&A activity within the region, including HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts such as change management, organizational design, and communications planning.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives across workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a credible and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, and cultural alignment.
  • Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with North American employment laws, internal policies, and Banyan values.
  • Support the full talent lifecycle, including performance feedback, coaching, and development planning.
  • Lead initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive work culture and enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven insights and solutions that drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure competitive, equitable compensation and benefits practices across North America.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements in partnership with legal and compliance teams, mitigating HR-related risks and upholding high standards of data privacy, confidentiality, and governance.
  • Actively contribute to HR projects and the ongoing evolution of HR practices, tools, and systems, with a focus on scalability and operational excellence.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a Human Resources Business Partner or equivalent strategic role, supporting US-based organizations across multiple states. Experience in a multi-entity, shared services, or high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
  • Broad and deep knowledge across HR disciplines, including compensation, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and employment law.
