We are currently seeking an Active Directory and PKI Service Administrator to support our NSWC customer in Crane, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be essential in maintaining and enhancing the security, stability, and scalability of our enterprise identity and access management framework, ensuring that operations run smoothly and securely.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, maintain, and support comprehensive enterprise Microsoft Active Directory (AD) environments to meet organizational needs and standards.
- Administer and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP services to facilitate efficient network functionality and resource management.
- Manage and support a robust Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including issuance, validation, and lifecycle management of digital certificates across hybrid environments.
- Enhance and secure identity infrastructures by developing and implementing authentication, authorization, and access control policies that align with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to domain services and directory integration, using problem-solving skills to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams to strengthen enterprise identity management frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain scripting, automation, and monitoring solutions that improve operational efficiency and system responsiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to security and compliance requirements, safeguarding organizational data and maintaining stakeholder trust.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
- A DoD IAT Level III certification (such as CISSP, CCNP, CISA, CASP+, Security X) is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
- Proven expertise in Active Directory architecture and administration.
- Extensive experience with GPO design, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Enterprise PKI.
- Solid understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., Kerberos, LDAP, SAML).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments is preferred.
- Microsoft Certified:
Identity and Access Administrator Associate or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer requirements.
