Job Title: Data Analyst – Patient Assistance Program (PAP)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 12-months
Start Date: ASAP
OverviewThe Data Analyst will support the client’s Patient Assistance Program (PAP) by analyzing program data, driving insights, and supporting operational decision-making. This role will work cross-functionally to evaluate program performance, streamline data processes, and ensure data is accurately integrated and maintained across internal and external systems. The ideal candidate understands PAP operations, has strong technical data capabilities, and can translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities- Program Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze PAP enrollment, eligibility, utilization, and outcome data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Insight Generation & Recommendations: Interpret data and communicate insights to leadership and operational teams to inform strategy, forecasting, and continuous process improvement.
- Automation & Data Processing: Manipulate and transform raw data into digestible formats and automated workflows using R and other analytical tools.
- External Data Coordination: Partner with third-party vendors and data partners who house PAP data to manage data pipelines, ensure data quality, and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance & Quality Support: Ensure data processes align with compliance requirements, privacy standards, and program eligibility rules associated with PAP operations.
- Prior experience supporting Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) within pharma, payer, or vendor environments (required)
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, including experience coding in R
- Experience with data migration, data mapping, and structured data integration
- Ability to manipulate, clean, and transform datasets into automated reporting or dashboards
- Experience partnering with external vendors, data processors, or data warehousing partners
- Ability to synthesize insights and communicate recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent data work streams
- Familiarity with compliance considerations related to patient support programs
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, public health, health economics, informatics, or related field
