Quality Assurance Manager

We’re looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance function and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products. In this role, you’ll manage QA strategy, processes, and people while working closely with Engineering, Product, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers (manual and/or automation)
• Define and own QA strategy, standards, and best practices
• Establish and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Oversee manual and automated testing efforts across web, mobile, and/or API platforms
• Partner with Engineering and Product to integrate QA into Agile/Scrum workflows
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and metrics
• Ensure timely identification, tracking, and resolution of defects
• Report on quality metrics, release readiness, and risk to leadership
• Advocate for quality and customer experience across the organization

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience testing modern software applications (web, mobile, APIs)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to balance hands-on involvement with strategic oversight

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling QA in a growing or fast-paced organization
• Background in performance, security, or accessibility testing
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Test Rail, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Prior experience working in [industry, e.g., SaaS, fintech, healthcare]
