Digital Product Team Lead Opportunity (Indianapolis, Hybrid, Contract)

Our client, a global technology consultancy, is seeking a Digital Product Team Lead to support a large pharmaceutical client. This is a 12-month contract (with potential to extend), approximately 40 hours/week, with hybrid preference in Indianapolis.

Pay Range: $50-54/hr.

The Digital Product Team Lead will oversee a UX Consulting team based in Bengaluru, India, providing on-demand UX and UI support to cross-functional partners. This role is responsible for intake and triage of design requests, defining scope, prioritizing work, delegating tasks, and ensuring high-quality, user-centered design outcomes. The role partners closely with global stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible digital experiences that support business, patient, and employee needs.

This position sits within the Design organization and serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and the offshore UX team. The role includes direct people leadership and contributes to enterprise-wide UX strategy and delivery.

• Lead and mentor a team of UX and digital product designers
• Own intake, prioritization, and scoping of UX requests
• Delegate work effectively while balancing capacity and timelines
• Communicate design rationale and translate feedback into clear direction
• Ensure adherence to design standards while encouraging innovation
• Stay current on UX trends, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrate strong accountability, flexibility, and resource prioritization

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of UX or product design experience
• Proven experience leading design teams and delivering digital UX/UI solutions
