JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a highly skilled Veeva Data Integration Specialist with strong AWS expertise to join our team in downtown Indianapolis
. This role is critical for bridging our Veeva Vault ecosystem with cloud-based data architectures. You will be responsible for the end-to-end integration lifecycle, including system configuration, environment management (cloning/refreshing), and developing robust data pipelines using both native Veeva connectors and custom AWS solutions.
- Veeva Configuration: Execute hands‑on configuration of Veeva Vault modules (e.g., Quality, Promo Mats, or Clinical), including managing document types, objects, life cycles, and workflows.
- Environment Management: Oversee the cloning and refreshing of Veeva sandbox environments to ensure production parity for development and testing cycles.
- Data Integration & ETL: Design and maintain integrations using Veeva Custom Connectors and AWS App Flow to synchronize data between Veeva Vault and Amazon S3/Redshift.
- AWS Cloud Development: Build and support serverless integration components using AWS Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions to automate complex data flows.
- System Connectivity: Manage secure connections between multiple Vaults and external AWS‑hosted data repositories, ensuring high data integrity and GxP compliance.
- Documentation: Author and maintain technical configuration guides, integration specifications, and system validation documentation.
- Veeva Expertise: Proven experience with Veeva Vault configuration and administration.
Experience with
Veeva Nitro or Vault Java SDK is a plus. - AWS Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with AWS data services, specifically S3, Glue, Lambda, and App Flow
. - Cloning & Dev Ops: Strong understanding of environment management, including cloning, migration, and release management strategies.
- Connector
Experience:
Practical experience working with native Veeva connectors and building custom connectors for non‑standard integrations. - Local Presence: Ability to work from our downtown Indianapolis office 3 days per week
.
- Veeva Certification: Current certification in Veeva Vault (Platform, Quality, or RIM).
- Compliance: Familiarity with GxP
, 21 CFR Part 11, and data privacy regulations in the life sciences industry. - Programming: Proficiency in Python or Java for creating custom AWS Lambda functions or Vault API scripts.
