DescriptionThe Network Administrator will manage, monitor, and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki technologies. This role is responsible for configuring and maintaining switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and security appliances, ensuring high availability and reliable performance across all sites. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Meraki dashboards, network troubleshooting, VPN configuration, and implementing security best practices.
Additional responsibilities include supporting end users, documenting network changes, and collaborating with IT leadership on infrastructure improvements.
- Proven experience administering and supporting Cisco Meraki networks (MX, MS, MR, and related platforms)
- Strong proficiency with the Meraki Dashboard, including monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
- Experience managing firewalls, site‑to‑site VPNs, client VPNs, and network security policies
Ability to diagnose and resolve network performance issues across distributed environments - Familiarity with network documentation, change management, and best‑practice security standards
- Experience supporting end users and providing Tier 2/Tier 3 network support
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Meraki CMNA/CMNO, CCNA) preferred but not required
$30/hour to $40/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
