You’ll be a technical contributor in LILT’s Business Intelligence function; owning BI integrations, dashboard development, and request prioritization while serving as a technical point of contact for stakeholders across the business. This is a hands‑on role focused on delivering analytics solutions that drive decision‑making across Revenue, Production, Finance, and Operations.
You will help establish and maintain BI standards and best practices (especially in Sigma), and you will drive adoption through clear guidance, documentation, and pragmatic governance.
Scope (What this role owns as a senior IC)- BI platform execution: Implement and evolve Sigma as LILT’s BI platform (workspace design, migration, new development).
- Reporting standards and best practices: Define and maintain BI standards (metric definitions, dashboard UX patterns, performance practices, documentation expectations), and drive adoption across stakeholders and BI contributors.
- Dashboards and self‑serve: Deliver production‑grade dashboards and enable self‑service where it reduces ongoing BI load.
- Request intake and prioritization: Own the BI intake process, backlog, and SLAs, including proactive communication of trade‑offs.
BI Integration & Development
- Drive the implementation of Sigma as LILT's BI platform, including dashboard migration, workspace design, and new dashboard development.
- Design and build data transformation layers to ensure reliable, consistent reporting.
- Create production‑grade dashboards and reports that translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Own complex BI integrations including Sigma, Big Query, Salesforce, and other business systems.
Analytics & Visualization
- Build elegant, intuitive dashboards that adhere to LILT's visualization standards and UX best practices.
- Translate complex business questions into clear visual analytics that drive action.
- Optimize dashboard performance and query efficiency.
- Develop self‑service analytics capabilities that reduce dependency on the BI function.
Queue Management & Prioritization
- Triage and prioritize incoming BI requests based on business impact, urgency, and strategic alignment.
- Manage SLAs.
- Maintain and communicate backlog status, blockers, and trade‑offs to stakeholders.
- Partner with BI contributors (and, when relevant, Data Engineering) to align on requirements.
Stakeholder Communication & Partnership
- Act as a BI contact for cross‑functional stakeholders (Revenue, Production, Finance, Product teams).
- Gather requirements from non‑technical stakeholders and translate into technical specifications.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership with clear, compelling narratives.
- Manage expectations, push back when needed, and negotiate priorities across competing demands.
- Build trusted relationships that enable effective collaboration and faster delivery.
