Senior Cloud Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN
. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Join a critical contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane to deliver enterprise IT and cybersecurity services. In this hybrid role based in Crane, IN, you'll lead the development of secure, scalable cloud solutions that integrate with DoD systems
, directly contributing to our nation's defense. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge cloud architectures in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based software solutions for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane

• Collaborate with talented software developers and engineers to create sophisticated cloud applications that integrate with DoD systems and technologies

• Build strong client relationships to deeply understand their business challenges and goals

• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams, conduct security and compliance audits of cloud systems, and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies

• Collaborate with a team of cloud engineers to execute project tasks and responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of full-time professional experience establishing and administering enterprise solutions in Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments

• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure services including EC2, ELB, Auto-Scaling, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, Lambda, Elastic Cache, Cloud Formation

• Must obtain one of the following certifications within 30 days of your start date: CISSP, CASP, or an equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-3 certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advanced application and mastery of IS, plans, and functions, including Experience in advanced application and mastery of IS, plans, and functions, including Dev Sec Ops

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CDK, and Ansible automation tools

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and can obtain and maintain an active Secret security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
