The Infrastructure Engineer position plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.

- Design and implement infrastructure solutions
- Plan and execute system upgrades, expansions, and migrations
- Monitor and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms
- Perform regular maintenance on Disaster Recovery site
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, ISE, and wireless networks
- Network device patching and switch port configurations
- Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and incident response
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with other IT functional groups and IT leadership
- Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Install and support patient video delivery system headend and patient room TVs
- Manage and support conference room video systems
Qualifications:
- Veeam VMCE certification
- Milestone MCIT/MCDE certification
- 9+ years of experience in Healthcare IT infrastructure, system administration, fiber testing and certification
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Verkada cameras, access control and alarms
- Experience with core fiber connectivity
- Experience with Pure Storage
- Experience with building Disaster Recovery sites and COLOs
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
