What you will be doing
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Configure and manage data governance tools (e.g., data catalog, lineage, data quality platforms).
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Define and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and remediation workflows.
  • Support metadata management, data lineage tracking, and business glossary development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate data stewardship programs and governance councils.

Basic Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in STEM or business with 7+ years of experience with data governance
  • or Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business with 5+ years of data governance
  • or Master’s degree in STEM or business with 3+ years of data governance
  • or PhD in STEM or business
  • In lieu of experience, 9+ years of experience in relevant area
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in designing and implementing data governance/data management solutions.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in a data governance environment.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to shape and translate business needs into comprehensive solutions.
  • Experience with policy development in a data governance environment.
  • Experience with data lifecycle management.
  • DAMA CDMP Certification.
  • DGSP Certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence at all levels.
