Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 18 months

Interview Type: Webcam and In-person

Note: Resource will be required to work onsite in Indianapolis 1-2 days per week based on the needs of the project

• Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
• Lead end-to-end migration of our on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
• Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team members' roles and responsibilities on the project.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience.

• Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation.
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects desired.
• Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
• Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure working on or with large software projects/teams.
• Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using Big Query, Dataflow, and Data Stream.
• Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.

• Experience in complex IT project or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies.
• Experience with Cloud migration, Google, Data Warehouse, Migration experience.
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects.
• Ability to support Sr. project team staff to drive projects to success.
• Strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in organizing highly complex and technical information.
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects.
• Knowledge of multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall.
• Experience managing projects within Azure Dev Ops.
• PMP Certified.
• Led end-to-end migration of an on-premise to cloud data warehouse migrations.
