Overview
Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will travel and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines, serving laboratory customers in your assigned territory with routine technical support, on‑site service, repair, installation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Travel to customer sites and install, maintain, and repair Roche products.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and service‑related issues.
- Perform routine technical support and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
- Document all service activities, contribute to quality improvement, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma plus 2 years of technical school, equivalent military training, or work experience.
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
- Or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 1–2 years of progressive experience.
- Successful completion of RD Services Leadership training or certification.
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of progressive experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro‑mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.
- Ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide after‑hours support, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Territory:
Albuquerque, NM (candidate must reside in the territory). - This is a field‑based role with required travel, including overnight stays.
- Expected salary range: $71,000 – $132,000 based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
- Discretionary annual bonus may be available.
